Glass AF anti-fingerprint potions, commonly known as: anti-fingerprint syrup, anti-fingerprint oil, is a coating composed of active silane group and fluorine modified organic group. After contacting with the glass substrate, a film layer of 10-20nm thickness will be formed to strengthen the molecular structure and ensure that the surface of the substrate has anti-fouling, water-repellent, anti-scratch and other excellent properties. In order to ensure the uniformity of the anti-fingerprint film layer and the adhesion to the glass, the glass has to suffer various potions tests the the development of potions.
Currently, all potions released on the market need to meet the following criteria:
Water contact Angle: greater than 115°
5 test points are randomly selected from the glass cover. The uniformity of water contact angle is guaranteed to be within 2% error.
Abrasion test: 3000 times
Tested by spraying process (wet method).
Test conditions: #0000 steel wool abrasion at 1KG force , contact surface 10mm*10mm.
Dynamic friction coefficient:
Test method: use BEMCOT dust-free cloth at 100G force, area 10mm*30mm,with wipe speed 500mm/min.
Perspiration resistance test for more than 240 hours
By using special chemical agents to simulate human sweat test, the coating material is immersed in chemicals for 240 hours, and the water contact angle is maintained above 108°.
Some AF anti-fingerprint potions research labs have a large demand for the glass used in the potions test, but the glass materials is short of supply and the market is still in a blank stage. Most potions research labs directly purchase test glass sheets from the manufacturers of glass raw materials or finished cover glass.
To be honest, this is a very embarrassing thing!
First of all, the glass for research tests is only small sizes and quantities. It’s not easy if you directly purchase from glass glass raw material manufacturers, cause they often sell glass in large glass sheets and quantities. Even if you can buy it, the experimental glass test pieces are cut in millimeters. After buying a large sheet of glass material, you need to find a laser cut to cut your custom glass size.
