1).To confirm the production environment and production equipment
Chemical etching requires strict environment of production site. Because the temperature and humidity will affect the quality of AG glass during chemical etching. What’s more, How factory control the concentration of liquid medicine also decide the stable quality of AG glass.Therefore, we think the production with constant temperature and humidity environment and storage can assure the stability of AG glass’s parameters. 3).Don’t pay much attention on Gloss.
Gloss is one of the most important performance index of AG glass, but it’s not the unique standard to judge whether it meets product application. When we’re assessing a new supplier of AG glass, the first thing is to confirm whether factory can present parameters table. For example: a piece of AG glass, gloss is 70, what’s the corresponding haze, roughness,transmittance and resolution ? Can they assure that every batch is within the stable range.
4).To confirm whether the transmittance is changed after AG etching
The good AG glass factory can assure that the transmittance won’t be changed during chemical etching. That is, the transmittance of normal soda lime glass after etching will be above 89%
5).To pay attention to resolution of AG glass
Gelivable use the USAF 1951 to control the resolution of AG glass. Resolution can tell the quality of many parameters of whole AG glass. Gloss, haze or roughness, if any of them go bad,it will affect the resolution of glass. But it’s a pity, most AG glass factory even don’t know how to test, needless to say the related equipment and instruments.
