Back to August 2018, we received an inquiry from a customer, who specified the use of Gelivable American AG glass raw materials.
This is a small sample of AG glass that we widely promoted. After the tests of time, quality, and competition, it was successfully delivered to the end customer, and the sample was also recognized and designated by the end of customer. There are two reasons why Gelivable team is impressed: Firstly, because Gelivable American AG Glass is still in the early stage of promotion, and it is not easy to be recognized by customers. Secondly, the application of the product is an agricultural machine for outdoor use, and AG(Anti-glare) glass is the best choice for customers’ product upgrades.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Gelivable. We couldn’t help but stunned in our heart, and then had a very strong desire. “Never miss it, definitely win” also became the only goal of Gelivable at that time. Check the customer’s drawings, AG glass + black frame and LOGO printing, it is a relatively complete solution, and then the normal quotation passed. At that time, the inquiry was from a Chinese domestic TP factory, and there may be layers of competitions. After the quoting, no information was received again. Our quote felt on deaf ears. At this moment, Gelivable team didn’t know how to follow up, as well.
Until March 2019, after more than half a year, the customer finally was determined to start the project. At this time, Gelivable team immediately went into sample production with full energy. In the stage, we also accumulated some experience, more considering the customer’s use environment, long-term ultraviolet radiation, and the ink is easy to peel off. Even if there is no requirement on the customer’s drawing, we actively chose Gelivable developed 1000-hour Anti-UV ink ensures that the ink will not change color and will not peel off after long-term outdoor sunlight exposure.
In this way, the samples of American AG glass + Anti-UV ink have been tested and followed up again and again for more than one year. For the industrial control industry, Gelivable deeply understood that it should bear at least one year to start the mass production after the sample’s offer. We have to waiting with patience!
“The sunshine will always come after the storm, and the flowers will often bloom after patiently waiting.” If you persist, there will always be good results. After two years of waiting, the customer placed the first mass production order in October 2020, a cover glass used on agricultural machines finally entered into mass production.
