Someone thought it’s a trouble, but someone found out opportunity and created value.

In Sep.2017,one company requested Gelivable Glass to provide customized cover glass for medical instruments. It should be with anti-glare function, anti-fingerprint coating + prints+3M adhesive. The processing was not complicated, but Gelivable team finished samples within 2 weeks.

Client were happy with samples and commented that quality was so good, the assembly effect was also good. Considering the visual effect, they decided to change transparent area to IR black. Gelivable team also finished samples soon. Then after several run, finally,this case go into mass production.

In March,2018, Gelivable received a new inquiry of custom cover glass. One headache needs to be solved, that is, client wants to run a machine without looking the active area.

After discussion, the team came up with a bold idea: to cut a groove in the surface of cover glass, and during the operation, the groove will give the finger a reminder when the hand slides to the edge of the operation area. When the customer heard about this plan, he was very happy and immediately agreed to our plan and instructed us to make samples.

But how to process ?

We did not flinch when facing difficulties. We made a customized special grinding head and fixture, adjusted the machine and designed the base, etc. After several days of testing and efforts, we finally succeeded in making glass samples

Upon receiving the sample, the customer was ecstatic: “great! Perfect! We need to push this project into mass production… ”
