Why did the customer require the cover glass bonded with explosion-proof film?(1)

By gelivableglass In Adhesive

A customer found Gelivable last year, and what the customer asked for was if we could offer cover glass used for the engineering initiation remote control device display or not. One of the requirements was very special : explosion-proof film needs to be bonded to the cover glass.   The customer said: “Because our end-users is in the Middle East, remote control blasting device is mainly used in oil drilling blasting control, so the device must meet international standards to withstand 97.1105 pounds of impact test, and can be in normal use under high temperature and bad engineering environment. If Gelivable can meet all the requires, the samples order will be sent to Gelivable team. After listening to the customer’s demand, we felt that the case was extremely difficult!

The difficulty of this case is not the processing of cover glass, but how to solve the bonding of explosion-proof film and cover glass? This is not a business we are familiar with.   First of all, let’s find out what an explosion-proof film is.     The explosion-proof film mentioned by the customer is a kind of function with strong perspective, no oxidation, no fading, effectively blocking ultraviolet and heat, reducing the internal temperature of the equipment, protecting internal electronic components from solar radiation, slowing down the aging failure of the internal equipment of the device, and preventing the glass from breaking and scattering.   Associated with the use of the remote detonating device of the client terminal, the requirements for the attached glass explosion-proof film products are also reasonable.   Since 2011, Gelivable decisively adjusted main markets to focus on industrial, financial, medical and other fields, and reduced the cover glasses proportion for consumer electronics applications. After several years of accumulation, our customized solutions to industrial cover glasses increasingly mature, professional. In response to customer’s requirements and changes in the market, we have added the bonded tapes and films business from last year.   The case that industrial cover glass bonded with explosion-proof film came at the right time. No matter how the market changes, we need to take advantage of ourselves to win the market.   How can Gelivable handle this case? What difficulties and obstacles did we encounter during the process?
